Charity plans are moving nicely for a passionate group of riders aiming to raise £100,000 for the Lister Hospital by cycling more than 1,000 kilometres this summer to Stevenage’s twin towns in Germany and France.

Their spinathon at David Lloyd in Stevenage later this month sold out in 24 hours, with a quiz night in February selling out in 24 hours including 240 seats in a single working day. They are looking for around 50 local companies to be in attendance at a business breakfast on Friday, February 3.

They also have plans for many other events and fundraisers between now and the ride, which is due to start on Friday, June 9.

If you’re a local business, or a resident who’d like to help or fundraise for them, or just to know more about their ride email info@twintowns100.org.
