Letchworth is to be recreated in cyberspace at a free event at the community museum in The Arcade tomorrow.

Letchworth in Minecraft will see kids aged seven and up build a virtual garden city from 11am to 4pm, with craft activities for younger visitors.

Garden City Collection curator Vicky Axell said: “We will use images and information from the collection to inform and inspire them.”

A flyer design contest at Norton St Nicholas C of E Primary School was won by a depiction of the Broadway Cinema by Nihal Chaggar-Chahal – pictured far right, with runners-up and the collection’s Vicky Axell and Sophie Dimond.
