Weston man on Restoration Roadshow team

A VILLAGER is about to become a TV personality.

Malcolm Green, who runs his restoration company at The Old Dairy, in Hitchin Road, Weston, will be one of the experts on the Restoration Roadshow that begins on BB2 on Monday at 6.30pm.

The show will be broadcast every weekday for the next four weeks as it travels around the UK giving advice on the restoration of everything from pictures to porcelain and furniture and clocks.

“The programme gives a new twist and lots of advice on restoration,” said Mr Green, 56, who lives in Letchworth GC, and has been restoring antique clocks and furniture for 35 years.

“Doing the programme has been great fun and I enjoyed it but it meant I was away from my business and I am behind in my own work restoring clocks and furniture so now the filming is over there is a lot of hard work to do here at Weston.”
