SUPPORTERS of Stevenage FC are being asked to pitch in today (Wednesday) to help clear snow from the ground.
Although Boro don’t play at the Lamex Stadium until February 2 against Leyton Orient, the club is asking for people to help out to ensure the playing surface doesn’t get waterlogged once the snow melts.
Supporters who can spare any time are asked to head down to the ground in Broadhall Way from 10am and bring a shovel and a wheelbarrow.
The club’s training ground, the Shephalbury Sports Academy, also needs clearing.
