A bowling green in Letchworth which resembled a swimming pool after heavy rainfall has now reopened – more than three days after being flooded.
The green at Howard Park and Gardens in Norton Way South disappeared under water following the stormy weather during the early hours of Friday morning.
North Herts District Council, which manages the park, confirmed today that the facility has now reopened after the water was drained away and maintenance workers tidied up.
