FIREFIGHTERS had to pump water from of a new block of flats last night after mains water flooded the fourth floor. The Stevenage crew were called to the Ice building on Lytton Way in the town shortly after 9pm after reports of water coming down the exter
FIREFIGHTERS had to pump water from of a new block of flats last night after mains water flooded the fourth floor.
The Stevenage crew were called to the Ice building on Lytton Way in the town shortly after 9pm after reports of water coming down the exterior of the Higgins Homes flats.
A nine meter ladder and breaking-in equipment was used and the mains water supply shut off.
The crew had finished mopping up by 10.30pm.
