A WATCHDOG has awarded the highest possible rating to the NHS trust which runs services relating to mental health and learning disabilities in the area.
The Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has been rated excellent for both quality of services and financial management by the Care Quality Commission.
This compares with a rating of excellent for quality of services and good for financial management last year.
Chief executive of the Trust, Tom Cahill, said: "I am delighted at the results, which shows we are continuing to improve on our consistently good performance of previous years. This is a direct result of the efforts of our hardworking and committed staff.
