A promotional film showing Stevenage as it was in 1971 has surfaced on the internet.
The professional 10 minute film by the Stevenage Development Corporation shows different aspects of town life including children’s play centres, shops, youth clubs, night clubs, sports, parks and workplaces.
The footage was released on a 2010 reissue of the cult British film Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush – shot in the town in the 1967.
