Members of the Junior Warriors Mixed Martial Arts Display Team made their first appearance recently.
They featured as part of the culture and community week hosted by Asda Stevenage.
The students impressed shoppers with highlights from the class syllabus including self-defence and anti-bullying techniques, traditional and modern forms and non-contact free-fighting.
The team, whose members are as young as six-years-old, gave an energetic performance for the large crowd that gathered to watch.
The children's display was followed by a demonstration from the adults' class which involved pad-work, sparring and breaking techniques on wooden boards and breeze blocks.
