CAR crime continues to be a problem in certain areas of Biggleswade and Sandy.
Inspector John Maries of Biggleswade police blames motorists for leaving property in full view inside their cars.
Supermarket car parks remain a favourite haunt for thieves breaking into cars and once again top of the theft list is sat navs.
"We had a purge in the middle of the summer on car parks at supermarkets warning drivers not to leave valuables, especially sat navs on display in their vehicle when they leave them even for a few minutes," said Ins Maries.
