A man who was wanted by officers for breaching his licence has been recalled to prison after being arrested in Stevenage this week.
A police appeal to trace David Atkins, right, was launched a week ago, with officers locating the 22-year-old in Canterbury Way on Monday after a member of the public saw the media appeal and alerted them.
Atkins, who has Stevenage connections but is originally from the Dover area, had been released from prison on licence but will now return to jail as a result of a breach.
He was convicted in December of battery and criminal damage offences committed in the St Nicholas area dating back to October last year.
A police spokeswoman has thanked the public for their help following the appeal.
