Last Tuesday at Meppershall Village Hall, the Whitbread Wanderbus based at Shefford held this meeting with drivers, officials and local residents attending, Dave Jordan was elected Meeting Chairman. In the Coordinators report, outgoing Jennifer Stanley announced that Kate Morley would take over as soon as possible. Four new drivers had volunteered, Mike Taylor, Inge Cockburn, Peter Andrews and Hugh Pratt who had taken training runs and were all driving on the routes covered. General repairs were being carried out at Arlesey Car and Commercial Centre. The new Stotfold Library run was a success though more places are available. The free bus pass travel this year is being absorbed, benefiting customers, though passes will need to be shown and the ticket machine altered. The bus has travelled 95,500kms, with probably two more years' usage possible. Some are booking on Milton Keynes routes and not turning up, depriving others of a place, please book for this route!
