At the January meeting of the Walsworth Townswomen's Guild, members enjoyed a very interesting talk given by Jill Osborne on Here and There. Slides were shown starting at the Thames barrier and finishing at Shuttleworth. The next TWG meeting on February 1 will be a humerous talk by Arthur Creighton on being an Airline Pilot, also there will be a competition for members - a small vase of spring flowers or a shrub. Some members will be enjoying a trip to the Gordon Craig Theatre at the beginning of February to see the Young Arcadians in Honk. The Walsworth TWG meet every first Wednesday in the month the meetings are held at the Walsworth Community Centre at 7.30pm.
