Parents and youngsters at Great Ashby’s Busy Bees playgroup stretched their legs to take part in their annual toddle waddle event to raise cash for a chosen charity.
They set off from the café at the Fairlands Valley boating lake to walk around the water, and more than £100 was pledged to support the work of Winston’s Wish, a charity that supports children who have been affected by bereavement.
The walk was followed by a family picnic and a chance for parents to get to know each other.
There are more activities on the calendar for the busy group, based in Whitehorse Lane.
First up is a space hopper relay next month as well as a summer fete on Saturday, July 9, with the same charity set to benefit. Find out more at www.winstonswish.org.uk.
