ONE Comet reader was left better off this week after scooping £75 worth of Waitrose vouchers when her name was picked from a hat.
Elizabeth Marshall, 24, of Hillfoot Road, Shillington, was presented with the vouchers from Jane Winters, manager of Hitchin Waitrose in Bedford Road. She won the prize after filling out a survey at The Comet's Hitchin market stall and having her name picked from a hat.
Ms Marshall said: "I am so pleased that I won the Waitrose vouchers, they couldn't have come at a better time. I got married and moved into Shillington earlier in the year. We have three local papers delivered here and I find that The Comet is the only one worth reading.
