AGE Concern Hertfordshire is launching a new service called GP Information and Advice, and volunteers are needed to help run it.

Based in medical centres, the charity will hold regular surgeries aimed at the over 50s, providing information and advice which will help improve the health and wellbeing of older people and support their independent living.

All volunteers will receive training and ongoing support, will work closely with staff at medical centres, and will hold sessions on a monthly basis.

To enquire about volunteering opportunities, call 01707 386060 or email volunteering@acherts.org.uk

To find out more about the service, call team leader Brian Saffery, or coordinator Mary Coyne, on 01727 834321 or email GPAdvice@acherts.org.uk
