A POSTMAN will be completing his second 26.2 mile round in a week when he runs in memory of his dad.
Barrie Curtin took part in the Brighton Marathon on Sunday but will be doing it all over again after being asked to run in the London Marathon by the Lymphoma Association.
The 32-year-old, who lives and works in Stevenage, was asked to step up two months ago having previously run the Edinburgh Marathon for the charity after his dad Les died of Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2004.
“Doing two marathons will be tough going but knowing that I will be helping support others affected by lymphoma is motivation enough,” said Barrie.
