FORMER Boro striker Peter Vincenti will miss out on Aldershot’s visit to the Lamex tomorrow (Saturday).

Vincenti, who scored Stevenage’s first ever goal in the Football League when he netted against Macclesfield Town on the first game of the season, is due to sit out of this Saturday’s match because of a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ between Boro and the Shots.

Vincenti has scored four goals for Aldershot since he moved clubs in January.

Boro striker Craig Reid will come up against his former mentor in Dean Holdsworth.

The pair were at Newport County together where, under Holdsworth’s stewardship, Reid hit 24 goals last season as Newport won the Blue Square South title.
