Council workers have been criticised after a street sign was installed in the wrong place.
The sign for Church Green in Great Wymondley, which residents asked for back in October last year because Church Green is difficult to find, was installed a mile away on Elms Close industrial estate, in Little Wymondley.
Amanda Smith, who wrote into the Comet, said: “It does not even look like it might belong there. There is no church, or green, or houses, just the industrial estate.”
A spokesman for North Herts District Council said: “The sign is being removed and will be placed in the correct place.”
