A FOOTBALLING world record attempt will get underway next month, but more volunteers are needed.
Villagers in Pirton are organising a five-a-side challenge, starting on Saturday, June 29 and going through to the next day.
They are hoping to break the record for the most number of participants involved in such a game, with the current record standing at 523.
Those who are interested can call Philip Turner on 01462 712305.
Money raised from the event, which will be held at Pirton Recreation Ground, will go to Alzheimer’s UK.
