Famous faces have been promoting Gabz’ FIFA World Cup song ahead of its release this weekend.
The Stevenage singer-songwriter, who appeared on BBC’s The One Show last night (Thursday), will be performing Holiday in Brazil at Stevenage Day on Sunday – the same day the single goes on sale.
Popstar Olly Murs, former N-Dubz star Dappy and Mark Wright from ITV show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) have showed their support for the song at a Soccer Six event, where celebrities raise money for charity by taking part in a football match.
Gabz, a finalist in last summer’s Britain’s Got Talent contest, is raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation UK, which will receive 25p from every download on iTunes.
The 15-year-old told the Comet she was “really excited” to be performing the song, which was written by Paul Baker with her input, at Stevenage Day, which starts at 11.30am on King George V Playing Fields.
