A father-of-seven is hoping to break into the music industry singing on a TV show for undiscovered talent.
Butch King, 48, from Walsworth Road, Hitchin, has already had one successful audition for ITV's Britain's Got Talent singing the UB40 hit Kingston Town and will be back for the next round in March.
"I think it went well. I was pleased with how I performed," said Butch, who is back in the UK after working for several years in Spain as managing director of a time share company.
"I would do some singing at karaoke bars in Spain and have always enjoyed singing so I thought I would give this contest a go. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that I could do well in this competition and perhaps earn a living from singing or running karaoke events in pubs and clubs in the area."
Let us know what you think of Butch's singing.
