A Neighbourhood Watch warning has gone out after four burglaries in Hitchin overnight – with three resulting in vehicles being stolen.
The break-ins took place in Westwood Avenue, Halsey Drive, Girons Close and Waltham Road.
Car keys were taken from the first three addresses, with thieves making off with vehicles.
In the Waltham Road burglary a handbag was stolen.
