Police are appealing for information after vandals slashed a car’s tyre in a supermarket car park.

The offenders slashed the front tyre of a bronze Nissan Note between 12.15pm and 12.45pm on Saturday, March 22, in the upper level of Morrisons car park on Broadway, Letchworth GC.

Police would like to speak to a man who was driving what was believed to be a white Mercedes Sprinter van and was in the area at the time of the incident.

He is described as a white male of slim build, around 5ft 9ins tall, aged between 35 and 45 and with short black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should contact PCSO Martin Barringer via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference G2/14/542. Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
