The team at Stevenage’s Mecca bingo club want to mark Valentine’s Day by saluting a couple whose love has really stood the test of time.
They are looking to track down the couple in Stevenage or North Herts who have been married the longest, and can produce the paperwork to prove it.
The lucky couple will be treated to an exclusive evening at the club in Danestrete and will also receive flowers and a bottle of champagne in celebration of their long-lasting love.
A spokesman for the club said: “Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year so we thought: Why not offer a special gift?
“Bingo brings people together and we know that some of our members have been together for many decades so it’ll be fantastic to award them or other long-standing couples from Stevenage with a special celebration.”
To register your claim, take a copy of your marriage certificate to the club’s front desk.
