THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident in Letchworth GC town centre this morning (Monday).
Officers were called to the corner of Broadway and Station Place, close to Barclays Bank, at around 11.35am after reports of a street robbery.
A man received facial injuries as a result of the incident and was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment.
More than 10 officers and a dog unit were called upon to search for the offenders, who an off-duty police community support officer chased as they fled the scene.
