A man has been arrested after a nine-year-old girl’s skirt was allegedly lifted in Stevenage.
A 50-year-old from Spalding in Lincolnshire was arrested by Humberside Police yesterday in connection with an incident in the force’s area, but Hertfordshire Constabulary will also be speaking to the same man after it was alleged a girl’s skirt was lifted at around 3.30pm on Sunday in a grassy area in Ripon Road, Stevenage.
He remains in police custody.
