Two possible arson attacks took place within hours around the Stevenage area at the weekend.
The first took place just after 11pm on Saturday, when firefighters from the town were called to a vehicle fire in a field by High Elms Lane in Benington.
The fire was declared out after half an hour. No one was involved.
A Stevenage crew were out again just before 6am on Sunday to a portable toilet on fire near scaffolding at High Plash in the town.
The blaze was dealt with within 10 minutes.
Both fires were declared 'doubtful'.
