Two motorbikes stolen from Letchworth as police link thefts and appeal for information

Two motorbikes have been stolen in Letchworth prompting police link the two thefts and launch an investigation.

A black Yamaha was stolen from Campers Road between 8.50pm and 9pm on Wednesday, December 14,

It has gold wheels and a blue LED light underneath the bike’s body – and was loaded onto a white Ford Transit van and driven off towards Spring Road.

On the same evening, between 7pm and 9.15pm, a Kymco moped was stolen from Burnell Rise.

Offices are appealing for information and witnesses.

PC Matt Hopkins, from the Letchworth Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are linking these two thefts and I am appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated or may have been offered these bikes for sale to please contact me.”
