TWO men arrested in connection with the death of a man whose headless body was found at the Blue Lagoon have been charged with perverting the course of justice.

The body of Michael Gilbert, 26, was found at the lagoon in Arlesey on Sunday, May 10.

Bedfordshire Police said brothers Robert and Richard Watt, both in their 20s and of Chertsey Close, Luton, will appear before Luton magistrates today.

Police said Mr Gilbert had been living in Blackburn, Lancashire.

He also had links to Cambridge and King's Lynn in Norfolk.

Two women also arrested in connection with the death have been released on bail.

A fifth person arrested in connection with the inquiry, a 22-year-old man, was released without charge on Saturday.

Police confirmed he was dead before he was decapitated, but the exact cause of death has not yet been released.
