Two men appeared in court yesterday charged with rape.
James Salmon, of Whitehorse Lane in Stevenage, and Martin Goodwin, 24, of Abbotts Close, London, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court following an incident in Hitchin on January 4 where it is alleged a female over the age of 16 was raped.
Mr Salmon, 35, is also charged with sexually assaulting a female over the age of 16.
The pair both pleaded not guilty and the case will go to trial at the court on February 2.
They have been bailed until then.
