Two men arrested on suspicion of kidnap earlier this month have been bailed by police until June.
Officers are investigating after allegations of false imprisonment in Holwell, near Hitchin.
They were called to an address in Bedford Road in the village on April 8 after reports men were held against their will.
The victims and suspects are known to each other.
