Two men who were arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Codicote have been bailed.
A 30-year-old man from Stevenage and a 26-year-old man from Hitchin have been bailed until September 3, when they are due to appear at Hatfield Police Station.
The victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after the attack in Codicote High Street on Tuesday.
