Two men charged with rape attended a preliminary hearing today.
James Salmon, of Whitehorse Lane in Stevenage, and Martin Goodwin, 24, of Abbotts Close, London, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court following an incident in Hitchin on January 4 where it is alleged a female over the age of 16 was raped.
Mr Salmon, 35, is also charged with sexually assaulting a female over the age of 16.
The pair will appear before Cambridge Crown Court again on October 20 for a plea and case management hearing.
