Two Letchworth men charged with Biggleswade robbery

Two men from Letchworth GC have been charged with robbery.

An incident occurred on Potton Road in Biggleswade on April 1 when a 40-year-old man is alleged to have been punched in the face and had his bag stolen at around 7.20am.

He was left with cuts and bruises to his face.

Ben Gibson, 19, from Hillbrow in Letchworth GC, and Aaron Murray, 24, of Monklands in Letchworth GC, have been charged with robbery and both are on bail to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on June 6. A man from Milton Keynes has also been charged with the same offence.

Police are still appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Constable Surinder Ram from Bedfordshire Police on 01234 275346, or call non-emergency number 101.
