Stephen Thomas Marshall, 37 of Ayot Path, Borehamwood, and Sarah Bush, 20, from Pickard Close, London, spoke only to confirm their personal details at the 10-minute hearing and were remanded in custody to appear at a date to be fixed at St Albans Crown Court.
Charges related to the murder of kitchen salesman Jeffrey Howe, 49, of Southgate, London, (pictured) whose dismembered body was found at locations in Hertfordshire and Leicestershire.
