A MAN and a woman have been hospitalised following a car crash at just before 3.30pm this afternoon (Thursday).
Paramedics, police and the fire service were called to London Road in Stevenage to reports of two cars in collision.
Ambulance service spokesman, Gary Sanderson, attended the scene and said: "A man and a woman received slight injuries and both required to go to hospital.
"The fire service kindly removed a door so the paramedics could access them both easily before placing them on spinal boards."
The woman who was driving the other car was uninjured.
Police closed the road from B&Q to the Six Hills Way/London Road roundabout, and it will remain closed until the two vehicles have been recovered.
