Two drug dealers have been found guilty of supplying heroin – after being arrested on the hard shoulder of the A1(M) near Letchworth.
Mohammed Khan, 29, of Crawley Road in Luton, was found guilty of conspiring to supply heroin, and possession of cocaine and cannabis.
Riffy Sharif, 32, of Croxley View in Watford, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply heroin.
Both men were arrested on the northbound carriageway around 300 yards before the Junction 9 turn-off for Letchworth Gate on July 29 last year.
They were both found guilty at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday, where they are due to be sentenced later this month.
