Two “distinctive” bikes have been stolen from a garden shed by thieves.
The offenders entered the house’s garden, on Ascot Cresent, Stevenage between July 30 and August 2 and took the two bicycles after gaining access to the shed.
PC Hayley Frazer, who is investigating, said: “The bikes stolen are quite distinctive and I would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have been offered them for sale or knows of their whereabouts.
“I would also urge anyone who remembers hearing or seeing anything unusual or suspicious in the area between these dates to contact me straight away. Likewise, if you think you may have seen someone with either of these bikes at the time or since, you may also be able to assist the investigation.”
Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact PC Frazer via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference E1/14/4867. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
