POLICE have arrested and charged two men in connection with a serious assault at Stevenage station. The incident occurred at about 2am on Saturday, October 3, when a 24-year-old man from Stevenage was assaulted and suffered a broken cheekbone. Paul Berry, 23, of Hardy Close in Hitchin, and Gerard Donaldson, 21, of Peppermint Road in Hitchin, have been charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. Both have been bailed to appear at Stevenage Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday, December 31). The charges came after an appeal about the incident appeared in The Comet in November.
