Man in 30s injured after collision on A1(M) between Welwyn and Stevenage

Two cars collided on the A1(M) northbound between Junction 6 for Welwyn and Junction 7 for Stevenage this morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called after reports of a collision at 7.43am.
A black Mercedes SL came off the road and came to rest on the embankment facing the wrong way.
A green VW Polo was also involved.
An ambulance attended and paramedics treated a man in his 30s with a suspected chest injury.
He was taken Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further care.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
