The A1(M) was temporarily blocked northbound this afternoon after a crash near Welwyn.
All traffic was held after a crash on the slip road of Junction 6 for Welwyn at about 3.30pm.
Two cars were involved in the crash, but no-one was injured.
Police said at 4pm that the scene had been cleared.
