There was heavy traffic on the A1(M) this morning after a collision at Junction 9 for Letchworth.
At 7.28am police were called to the southbound carriageway after reports of a crash involving a grey Peugeot and blue Mini Cooper.
The scene was cleared by 8.50am after both vehicles were recovered.
