Two men have been arrested following an attempted ram-raid burglary at an off-licence in Letchworth during the early hours of this morning.
Police were called at 12.38am today after a Land Rover Defender was driving into the front of the Ivel Court Express Stores.
Nothing was taken from inside the store, with the would-be robbers making off in a separate vehicle – leaving the Land Rover behind.
A 39-year-old man from Essex and a 48-year-old man from North London were arrested in Essex on suspicion of burglary and remain in custody at this time.
