NEW drama is the highlight of ITV’s new year schedules.
Five-parter Marchlands is the first commission to come from the tie-up between ITV Studios and Fox, and is based on an original US pilot from David Schulner.
Written by Stephen Greenhorn (Glasgow Kiss, Doctor Who), and starring Alex Kingston (ER) Marchlands tells the stories of three different families living in the same house in the 1960s, the 1980s and the present day.
The three timeframes interconnect as the families are linked by the ghost of Alice, a young girl who died in mysterious circumstances in nearby Blackwater Tarn.
