Stevenage U3A: (University of the Third Age) welcomes people of 50+ to our regular meetings on Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm for a programme of talks and activities. The CTC have published: A new programme of cycle rides from Stevenage. There's a variety of group rides from those ideal for leisurely cycle cruises There are rides every Sunday, most Wednesday evenings and some Saturday afternoons. This Sunday there's a moderate ride of about 32 miles. Meet at Costello's Cafe in Fairlands Valley Park in time for a 9.30am start. There will be a mid morning break in Whitwell and the chance of lunch in Benington. The ride will be led and swept so no-one should get left behind. Like most local CTC rides this Sunday's is free though regular riders are encouraged to join.
