FLOWERS have been gathering at the scene where a young girl died this week, as people pay their respects.
The 10-year-old girl from Stevenage died on Tuesday afternoon after she was in collision with a white Mercedes at Monkswood Way pedestrian crossing, opposite Asda.
Since her death, flowers and cards paying tribute to the young girl continue to be laid by the pedestrian crossing.
A police investigation is ongoing and a 44-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, has been released on bail.
