Travellers who were facing court action after pitching up in Letchworth have now moved on.
The group first set up camp at an Avenue One industrial site on Sunday last week, moving to the end of Works Road near where Letchworth meets Baldock the following evening.
A spokeswoman for Herts police has confirmed that the travellers left the site yesterday.
The Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation – which owns the land – had previously served the group with a notice, which meant if they failed to leave then the matter would be referred to the courts.
