Train services are running late this afternoon after security checks at Hitchin railway station temporarily closed a line.
The Great Northern line from London King’s Cross was stopped near Hitchin due to safety concerns.
Services are currently running 10 minutes late, after earlier cancellations and delays due to the investigation which left trains unable to stop at Hitchin.
The Great Northern franchise has come under fire recently for its fare hikes and poor punctuality.
