Train lines between Stevenage and Peterborough have reopened after a person was struck by a train between Biggleswade and Sandy.
Services were suspended following the incident, but both Great Northern and Virgin East Coast trains are now running.
Disruption is expected until at least 2pm.
The Comet has asked the British Transport Police for more information and is awaiting a response.
